Curing Chamber Prototype
Working on the development of a curing chamber for big size sla 3d prints. This video showcases the chamber concept, which is designed to accommodate 50x50x50 cm SLA prints - next step is to add the electronics, curing lights and air purifier system to complete the alpha version.
Beyond its functionality, this tool worked as a great exercise to optimize our infrastructure. 3D printed with SLA technology, the initial printing time with the parameters suggested by the resin manufacturer were close to 19h. After modifying lifting speed, bottom retract speed, retract speed, retract distance, lifting distance, bottom lift distance in the slicer, we were able to reduce by 50% the printing time.
Electrical Harness Cover
SLA 3d printed electrical harness cover for an automotive Tier 1. This is a great example of 3d printing capabilities for low volume manufacturing. Originally, this component were sent from China. Because of this, we helped to reduce logistic costs and manufacturing lead time.
